This shirt/dress/skirt number has has been sitting in my closet forever, not anymore though 🙂
Went exploring through the deserted Lake Merced a few days ago before heading out to dinner at my favorite pho restaurant. Even after 5 years in the city it still amazes me sometimes how fast the fog rolls in. It was sunny when we were driving over there and within 5 minutes you could barely see across the miniscule lake. From the photos you can see that I couldn’t decide whether to keep my sunnies on or off.
This week at work has been exhausting and not the best to put it lightly. I am definitely looking forward to my jam packed weekend….my little brother will be in the bay for the night, overdo brunch, and a quick get a way to Napa.

New purchases…Prada sunnies (beyond obsessed) somewhat broke the bank to buy these suckers but I HAD TO HAVE THEM, Elizabeth and James crab claw ring, and my other ring du jour (flea market find).
Happy hump day, I don’t know about everyone else but I can’t wait for the weekend to get here.
Grabbed dinner Thursday night at Chou Chou, my absolute favorite french bistro in the city. It is a total family joint, the owner comes a greets everyone, all the waiters speak french, affordable, and on Tuesdays and Thursday they have no corkage fee. My french professor freshman year of college recommended it. If you like french food and have never been you must go immediately.
My shatter nail polish is amazing, can’t get enough of it. I did a post a few weeks ago about picking up a ring at a flea market and no pictures have done it justice until now! I cant get enough of this ring…could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love buying items that you cant get enough of, makes it worth the money you spend.
Hope everyone is enjoying the remaining hours of their weekend!
p.s. I need a freaking haircut

September is one of my favorite months is terms of fashion and here are my top 3 reasons why…
#1. I can’t wait until the Missoni for Target collection. You bet your ass I will be in line before the store opens.
#2. Fashions Night Out is also held in September, plans are unsure still but most likely I will be downtown celebrating wishing I was in NYC 😦 SF will suffice for this time.
#3. Lastly, the fashion mags send out their yellow-page-esqe September issue. I am patiently awaiting like a child on Xmas morning for the Harper’s and Vogue issue to arrive in my mailbox. I am mostly excited for Vogue due to the ever lovely Kate Moss. I have seen a couple of the pics that Mario Testino shot at her wedding but I am dying to read the article.
Spending the day recovering from Outside Lands this past weekend. Such great music, food, vino, and friends. Last Thursday me and Jason spent the day prowling around the marina, grabbed some lunch at The Grove Cafe and soaked up the sun. It was the perfect way to spend the day before the mayhem of the weekend.
Picked up this denim vest at Nordys a couple of days ago. I have been on the hunt for a denim vest for quit sometime, all of the ones I found at thrift stores were either huge or to much acid wash for my taste. I love it more than anything when the stars align and you find a specific clothing item you have been searching high and low for. Mixed and Matched some prints, I definitely think there is a science to this. However, I wish I was as ballsy as some other ladies and could pull it off all the time.

Had a great sunday yesterday, went to the Alameda Flea Market with my roomie. Wore this outfit (inspired by my favorite parisian ladies) a few days ago out running errands, it was a lazy day for me. This shirt is getting some good use recently. I got this bad boy from H&M in the mens department, I love crossing enemy lines to shop sometimes.. you can find some gems. Usually I am on the look out for oversized comfy basics. A few of my go-to stores include Club Monaco, H&M, Old Navy, and J Crew.
Ensemble: H&M shirt, bdg jeans, Nine West flats
This past week to my surprise it was sunny outside when I got home from work. Me and Jason made a mad dash to the beach to soak up the remaining minutes of sunshine before the fog rolled in. I wish it was always clear skies. I am sporting my new favorite ring, my recent souvenir from the Treasure Island flea market. OBSESSED with it…attempted to get a good picture, the second photo just doesn’t do it justice. Finally its the weekend and my old roommate is in town.. you best believe we will be throwing back a few drinks tonight.
Happy Friday, enjoy your night.
