All Tied Up

Finally went to go see the new Woody Allen Flim, Midnight in Paris, it was all I was expecting it to be and more. Trying to channel my corporate/masculine/feminine look into one ensemble. This shirt (along with the tie) was a steal at J Crew, it has been sitting in my closet for sometime now but it came out to take a spin.

Black and Blue

This amazing weather we have been having in San Fran the past week has been making for an easy transition back from Mexico. Spent the sunny day roaming around the embarcadero. These flats are another item I have in my collection of designers collaborations. I got them from Target when they did their shoe collab with Sigerson Morrison, I ended up buying this pair and another pair. Bedazzled flats are something every girl should own, they are the perfect way to add a little something something to your ensemble.

Enjoy your weekend!

Just A Little R & R

Arrived back in San Francisco after a much needed 5 days in Cabo. It is amazing what a little sun, relaxation, and isolation from your cell phone can do for a gal. Above are some shots from the resort my family stays at every year, it is a monstrosity to say the least, and one of the outfits I wore to dinner one night. The wedges I am wearing get hardly any wear in SF, they were a bit dusty but it was great to pull them out and give them some lovin again. Aren’t these rocking chairs freaking ridiculously cool? They are usually occupied with people reading or napping and I was lucky enough to snap a quick photo of them (sans people) right as we were leaving. Caught up on my sleep, read a book, ate enough guacamole/drank enough margaritas to curb my Mexican food cravings for weeks to come.

Back to reality! xox

Ensemble: H&M hat, Forever 21 dress, Target belt, Steve Madden wedges, jewelry from all over

Ready Set Go

I leave for cabo tomorrow morning! In some desperate need of some hardcore heat and sunshine. All I can think about is eating guacamole and chips while sipping on some margaritas. yum yum. Expect some photos asap.

Salud Everyone!

Leave it to lady Jenna Lyon to bring us, in my opinion, one of the most exciting J Crew collaborations to date. I am patiently awaiting July when the Eddie Borgo collaboration hits store. His jewelry is kick ass to say the least. Collaborations are a great way for designers to reach another market and are perfect for people like myself who cant afford the “real thing” but desperately want to be a part of their club. However, it is a rarity that collaborations meet expectations and more often then not they are a let down. Dont get me wrong, this girl loves when designers do collaborations, I am a huge fan, when and only when it is executed correctly. Something tells me this colab wont be a disappointment. Above are some pics of the real deal, yes one of my fashion favs Ms. Lanphear models his jewelry from time to time. She rocks his pieces flawlessly.

I suppose we will have to wait and see until July if it will be a hit or miss.

An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away

Wearing another one of my great purchases from Aritzia, this skirt was one of the first pieces I bought there. That store is fucking amazing, cant say it enough.

Been bed ridden the past few days caught a cold that is the equivalent to the plague. Mustered up enough energy to peel myself out of bed to do some shopping, that will always do the trick. I am going to Cabo next week and panic set in when I opened my closet to see that is is full of black oversized clothing. Slowly but surely over the past couple years in SF my colorful summer frocks have become non existent, so now I am on the hunt. Any good tips where to get some stylish warm weather clothes?

Bisous xx

Wherever The Wind Blows

Treated Jason to a movie for his birthday the other day and was pleasantly surprised to enjoy his “man” pick movie. Choose a comfy casual outfit for our outing. A while ago I was searching high and low for boyfriend jeans but of course had every issue imaginable finding a pair that fit my short shelf. Instead I tried a pair of straight legs two sizes to big and volia. Sometimes all you have to do is think outside the box to get what your looking for.
