Monthly Archives: March 2011

Below are a few things that are making me happy…..

Steven Madden Perrin Boots, I have been wearing these guys religiously.

I just finished this book (i know it is old) but it was amazing. The author, Chuck Klosterman, is hilarious and I cant wait to read more of his work.

I stole the boyfriends watch and have been switching it out with my usual gold MJ watch. This one is so much lighter than my other watch, it took some getting used to. Does anyone else feel naked without a watch?

All I See Is Red

Ironically, Mondays are becoming my favorite day of the week. Almost everyone is well rested from their weekend and the streets are fairly empty, which makes for great shopping. SF graced us with gorgeous weather yesterday so I spent the day roaming around thrifting in the mission. Then me and Jason grabbed some dinner in my old neighborhood at Bean Bag Cafe.

I brought these red cow boy boots back with me from a trip Montreal last summer. They are great for adding a pop of color to my outfit.

I can’t get over the weather yesterday, hopefully we get a few more days like it.

Spring Forward

It’s officially spring! I won’t be pulling out any of my spring attire just yet, thanks to the freakish weather SF has been getting. I thought it was more than appropriate to wear my floral coat to celebrate the change of the seasons. I met up with a friend for a long overdo lunch yesterday, what better way to kick start spring.

Isn’t this coat amazing! It is from the Thakoon for Target line, usually I am somewhat disappointed in the collaborations and how they are executed but in my opinion his was by far the best.

I don’t know what would have happened if I never laid eyes on these Jeffrey Campbell boots….they are so comfortable, I could easily run a marathon in them. Not only are they extremely functional they go with everything.

Pseudo Holiday

I did my part yesterday for St. Patty’s and made sure to incorporate some green into my outfit. It is minimal but it’s there.  Me and the roommate met up with our friends who were up here visiting from LA. We all grabbed some lunch and went shopping on Union St.

These Aldo shoes are so old, I got them on a trip to Canada in high school. They are super comfortable and I love the blue leather straps, for some reason I can’t part with them.

Hope everyone had a crazy St Patty’s day and drank lots of whiskey!

Mix & Match

The weather in SF has not been looking up, unfortunate for me but great for all my winter  clothes. This sweater I am wearing always gets mixed reviews (which is one reason why I love it)…people either love it or find it hideous.  My mom got it for me as a gift a few years back.

I threw on this printed animal scarf, initially I thought it was too much but it grew on me. Definitely a loud choice for me.

Wearing my always trusty Jeffrey Campbell Solvang boots, I could walk for miles in these bad boys.

All Hail AllSaints

I have been MIA with posting recently (apologies), I went home to Southern CAli for a few days to visit the family and have been sickly bed ridden since I got back to SF. Luckily, I had the day off work today and mustered up just enough energy to get out of bed and grab some brunch.

This top is from the UK brand AllSaints. It was my christmas gift from Jason last year 🙂 I love this brand they make such unique comfy pieces.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

top3’s are a tribute to 3 things that I am currently OBSESSED with! It is only necessary that my first top3 is dedicated to no one other than SF native Alexander Wang. His latest Fall 2011 collection is perfection! He designs what women want to wear.

I could definitely make room for all 3 of these looks in my closet. It was tough to narrow it down to 3, the man is pure genius.
